We are ideally situated on Stockport Road between Mossley and Grasscroft, there is ample free parking directly opposite the pub. Our postcode is OL5 0RQ for your sat nav!
Walking to the Rising Sun is a very popular activity, whether its with the dog after work, or a full family trek out at the weekend, we’ll be waiting for you with a cozy atmosphere and fantastic food and drink.
We’re preparing some maps to show the 8 (yes, 8) different routes which end at the Rising Sun in Mossley, with approaches from Oldham, Lees, Ashton, Stalybridge, Mossley, Uppermill, Greenfield and Grasscroft.
The number 356 bus passes our door once an hour, best place to get off is the Roughtown Road bus stop!
Trains frequently arrive at Mossley (Manchester) Train Station, which is a fabulous 20 minute walk away from The Rising Sun.
